Fashion and luxury lifestyle magazine Tatler Asia is expanding its operations to Vietnam under an exclusive licensing partnership with House of MOCO.

The venture will see Tatler's digital and print content available in Vietnamese, with digital content hosted on TatlerAsia.com and social media accounts specifically for Tatler Vietnam launching concurrently.

The first print issue for Tatler Vietnam is currently scheduled for October 2024. Additionally, Tatler's community and events portfolio will also extend into Vietnam, with Tatler Ball, Vietnam set to debut in 2025.

The partnership between Tatler and House of MOCO underscores Tatler's continuing expansion across Southeast Asia and promises to bring its award-winning content and event concepts to the vibrant Vietnamese market.

“We are thrilled to launch Tatler in Vietnam, a country renowned for its vibrant culture. This expansion allows us to bring our innovative content and events to a discerning audience that values quality and exclusivity," said Michel Lamunière, chairman and CEO of Tatler Asia.

"Vietnam's dynamic economy and growing appetite for premium products make it an ideal destination for our continued growth," added Lamunière.

Leading Tatler Vietnam as managing director is Hami Tran. Tran, according to a statement seen by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, has over a decade of experience in fashion, media, retail, marketing, eCommerce and education.

In addition, Tran previously launched Elle and L'Officiel magazines in Vietnam and has held positions at The Walt Disney Company, Gucci and Chanel.

“I am delighted to be bringing Tatler’s award-winning content and experiences to Vietnam and sharing impactful stories from Vietnam’s most influential communities. We are very much looking forward to connecting with luxury brand marketers and thought leaders who are looking to engage Vietnam’s thriving HNW and emerging affluent audience segments,” said Tran.

Earlier in June, it was reported that global men's fashion magazine VMAN will be launching its first foreign edition, VMAN SEA, in Southeast Asia.

Set to launch in September this year, VMAN SEA aims to cater to the sophisticated and style-conscious men, as well as men's fashion lovers in the market. It will be released on a biannual basis.

VMAN SEA comes in the form of a strategic partnership between Philippines publishing company One Mega Group, Inc (OMGI) and VMAN. Through this partnership, both parties promise to deliver a publication that is able to curate global menswear trends while incorporating local flavour and insights.
