Louis Vuitton names Stray Kids’ Felix as new house ambassador

Louis Vuitton has named Felix Lee (pictured), member of Korean boy band Stray Kids, as its latest house ambassador, aiming to captivate global audiences with his unique creative energy.

A check by MARKETING-INTERACTIVE of Louis Vuitton's official Instagram saw that its three latest posts on the news garnered over one million likes within a day of the announcement.

"I am thrilled that Lee is joining Louis Vuitton. I met him when I presented my pre-Fall 2023 collection in Seoul and it instantly clicked between us. He is really talented — I love his energy, his unique personality, and his audacious sense of style,” said Nicolas Ghesquière, women's creative director of Louis Vuitton.

In fact, Lee is the latest K-pop idol to be affiliated with Louis Vuitton. The brand appointed BTS’ J-hope, NewJeans’ Hyein and GOT7's Jackson Wang as house ambassadors earlier this year. Meanwhile, K-pop stars are taking over the fashion industry as brand ambassadors. For example, Dior named NewJeans' Haerin as its newest ambassador in April this year and Ferragamo appointed NCT's Jeno as its first global male ambassador back in May.

Back in April, Louis Vuitton wowed the fashion world by naming Zendaya as its newest brand ambassador with the launch of the iconic Capucines collection. The fashion house also unveiled a "stunning" campaign featuring the Euphoria actress. Within the campaign ad, Zendaya was seen showcasing elegant dance moves while carrying various Capucines handbags of different colours at the Roquebrune-Cap-Martin house, designed by architect Eileen Gray, in the Cote d’Azur region of France.
