McDonald's runs Instagram campaign

Did you catch the larger-than-life Ronald McDonald red shoes placed around town?  These shoes weigh about a 100kg and stand at 1.8 metres long and 1 metre tall.This is a part of McDonald’s McHappy Day campaign, which aims to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Singapore (RMHC). Commuters are encouraged to snap photographs with the gigantic shoes.For every picture that is uploaded on Instagram with the hashtag #mchappydaysg, McDonald’s pledges SG$1 per entry for the first 5,000 entries to the RMHC. This is the first time that McDonald is engaging commuters in its fundraising efforts.The shoes were displayed at Toa Payoh bus interchange and Dhoby Ghaut and HarbourFront train stations earlier. It will be displayed at Boon Lay bus interchange from 16 to 22 November this year. The structure was created with fiberglass by Moove Media, ComfortDelGro’s outdoor advertising arm and leading Out-Of-Home (OOH) media owner.
