Longchamp promotes Vincent Ciret to APAC CX and eCommerce director

French luxury brand Longchamp has promoted Vincent Ciret (pictured) as customer experience and eCommerce director for APAC and Japan.
According to his LinkedIn, Ciret will be responsible for eCommerce, CRM, buying and merchandising, and planning and allocation. Prior to his promotion, he was general merchandise manager from July 2016 to December 2021. He was tasked with buying and merchandising; planning and allocation, as well as in-store visual merchandising management. He also oversaw the operation of more than 200 stores across 12 countries in APAC, including China and Japan.
Ciret said on his LinkedIn that he boasts 20 years of experience in directing and executing strategic merchandising and business development activities for global multichannel brands going through changes, revitalisation, turnaround and accelerated growth.
Ciret previously worked for Loewe as head of wholesale for the Middle East and merchandising manager for APAC. In this position, he handled the implementation of centralised merchandising and oversaw the supply chain unit across APAC and China, whilst revitalising the brand image through appropriate buying strategies to support the new creative direction. On the other hand, he handled the launch and development of the brand in the Middle East and North Africa region, managing key business partners.
Ciret boasts experience in foreign countries too. He was head of buying and merchandising at Mulberry from May 2007 to March 2011. Based in London, he oversaw the implementation of buying and merchandising strategies to facilitate the brand's local and international expansions. He also helped optimise merchandising operations to improve the profitability of the brand.
In the early stage of his career, Ciret worked for British clothing brand L.K.Bennett in London and fashion brand in Paris.
