Beauty company L’Oréal has named Adrien Koskas as general manager, consumer products division (CPD) of L’Oréal SAPMENA effective 1 October 2023. In his new role, Koskas will report directly to Vismay Sharma, president of SAPMENA. He succeeds Manashi Guha, who takes on a new assignment as managing director, CPD for L’Oréal UK and Ireland.

Koskas, who will be based in Singapore, will be responsible for building the next growth chapter for CPD in the SAPMENA Zone, which comprises 35 markets. CPD holds a vast brand portfolio that includes its four global brands. These are L’Oréal Paris, Maybelline New York, Garnier and NYX Professional Make Up.

He brings with him extensive experience in global leadership and marketing across both developed and emerging markets. Since 2019, he has been the global brand president of Garnier. Under his leadership, the brand delivered record growth, brought its Green Beauty purpose to life, and is a flagship brand for the Groupe’s sustainability commitment.

Prior to this, Koskas held business leadership positions in France, Brazil and the United Kingdom, including as general manager, CPD for L’Oréal UK and Ireland.

“I am thrilled to start my new role as CPD SAPMENA general manager and am excited to work with the talented and diverse teams in the region to create the future of beauty for all," said Koskas.

The news comes shortly after L’Oréal named Lex Bradshaw-Zanger  as the chief digital and marketing officer (CDMO) of L’Oréal SAPMENA effective 1 May 2023. He is now responsible for boosting L’Oréal’s digital and marketing innovation in the SAPMENA Zone, which comprises over 35 markets.
