Kimberly-Clark Professional is ramping up its sustainability communications, expanding its partnership with The Idea Shed to develop a new content strategy aimed at reinforcing its leadership in responsible sourcing and environmental impact.

Having worked with Kimberly-Clark Professional since 2022, this expanded remit will see The Idea Shed develop storytelling and content strategies to support both KCP’s internal sales teams and its extensive distributor network.

The company has a longstanding dedication to sustainability, though its global program Better Care for a Better World, and the company recognises the need to evolve its communication strategies to meet growing expectations from businesses and consumers alike.

“Partnering with The Idea Shed allows us to bring our sustainability commitments to life in a way that resonates with our customers and distributor network,” said Chao Chen, integrated marketing manager at KCP. “We’re excited to continue our work together, ensuring our messaging is clear, credible, and drives meaningful action.”

Work on the new strategy is already underway, with KCP refining how it presents its environmental initiatives across various touchpoints.

“Sustainability is no longer a nice-to-have – it’s a business imperative,” John Volckman, partner & executive creative director at The Idea Shed, said. “The challenge is cutting through the noise and communicating real impact. That’s exactly what we’re setting out to do with KCP.”
