HSBC throws a cyber ball in Grey Group Hong Kong's Rugby Sevens campaign

Grey Hong Kong has created a tech-focused Hong Kong Sevens campaign for event co-sponsor HSBC, featuring a suped-up rugby ball with an in-built camera. The video series, which consists of the main hero video and several individual clips, shows the ball being passed between representatives of various local HK businesses. The reps then pitch into the ball cam how technology and HSBC’s services drive their work. Rex Sham, founder of Insight Robotics explained his team’s role in the project: “There are cameras mounted on the sides of the official game ball and the ball was passed around Hong Kong. I’m happy to be part of such a fun project which also shows how supportive HSBC is of innovative businesses and startups.” The campaign will have a district focus around the Hong Kong Sevens tournament. It will be broadcast on site in the Rugby Village and Hexagon Suite, as well as on TV channels, digital, and social media. This year marks the 44th edition of the Hong Kong Sevens, and the seventh tournament of the 2018–19 World Rugby Sevens Series.
