"Looi is a powerhouse in the advertising and media industry, bringing over 16 years of experience from some of the most influential companies in the field. She has built a reputation for her strategic vision and innovative thinking, having held leadership roles at major players such as Astro and IPG Mediabrands," wrote Mak on LinkedIn.

"Looi’s expertise in driving digital transformation and her ability to navigate complex market dynamics have positioned her as a trusted leader in the industry. Her collaborative leadership style inspires teams to excel, and her insights will be invaluable as we embark on this new chapter," he said.

Liyana on the other hand joins from Astro where she was its digital sales manager. She was with the team for just over three years. She has also worked at IPG Mediabrands Malaysia, joining as assistant manager in 2017 and being promoted to media manager in 2018.

"Liyana joins us with more than a decade of expertise in digital marketing, most recently from Astro, where she excelled in digital sales and client solutions. Her ability to foster strong relationships and drive results will be a great asset to our team," said Mak.

"After a few quiet years without significant investments or announcements, these senior hires mark a new chapter for HEPMIL Malaysia. We’re also excited to share that we’ll be bringing more talent on board in the coming weeks, so stay tuned," added Mak.
