Havas Hong Kong promotes Jason Kwong to MD

Havas Media Hong Kong has promoted digital services head Jason Kwong to managing director.On the first day in his new role yesterday, Kwong told Marketing the promotion seeks to take advantage of the agency's integrated digital services. "In my previous role I was responsible for online media business while Tang used to manage offline's. Now we are merging online and offline as the company is devoted to delivering integrated services."Kwong reports to Thomas Wong, CEO of Havas Media Greater China.He succeeds Deryk Tang, former managing director of Havas Hong Kong, who left the company after more than three years to launch his own business."After nearly 30 years in traditional media agencies I've achieved my goals, it's time to try new things," Tang said.In his three-plus years with Havas, Tang has brought a slew of new clients including Shangri-La, AXA, Audemars Piguet and Travel Expert. Prior to that he spent two years in Taiwan as managing director at OMD and PHD.
