Havas Group hands Jacqui Lim and Valerie Madon new roles to revitalise agency

Havas Group has promoted Valerie Madon (pictured right) to the role of chairperson of Havas Group Singapore, and Jacqui Lim (pictured left) to the role of group CEO, overseeing both creative and media units.Madon, who joined last year, will take on the role in addition to her current duties as chief creative officer of Havas Group Southeast Asia and global creative lead on GSK. Madon’s responsibilities will include "leading a dramatically revitalised creative vision" for Havas Group’s integrated operations, in line with the group’s global "Together" strategy.Lim, the current CEO of Havas Media Group Singapore, will be responsible for the day to day functioning of all Havas Group Singapore agency brands, including Havas Media and Havas Creative. Lim has been leading the Havas Media Singapore operations since 2015 and under her leadership, Havas Media Singapore claims to have "doubled in billings".Both Madon and Lim will report into Vishnu Mohan, chairman and CEO of Havas Group Southeast Asia and India.Mohan said, "The new leadership structure has been devised to accelerate the evolution of our collaborative Village model. In Lim and Madon, two of the most talented leaders with proven track records in driving operations and creative leadership, we have the embodiment of a natural client-centric approach that will cement the combined expertise of the Singapore Village to drive a new kind of strategy, digital prowess and creative delivery capability across the communications spectrum."Madon said, “Havas Group's 'Together' strategy has transformed the way we work and serve our clients. I am looking forward to working closely with Madon and the whole team to build on the momentum and propel Havas Group Singapore to greater heights."The leadership changes coincide with the departure of Andrea Conyard, CEO of Havas Creative Singapore. Conyard joined as managing director in November 2015.
