GOPIZZA expands pizza dining experience with FairPrice Finest and Cathay partnerships

GOPIZZA has partnered with FairPrice Finest to open its first outlet at in the supermarket chain with exclusive flavour offerings such as the Ayam Taliwang Pizza.

Located at FairPrice Finest Ang Mo Kio Block 712, shoppers can indulge in the Ayam Taliwang Pizza, a collaborative creation by GOPIZZA and Michelin Guide brand, Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang.

In tandem, GOPIZZA also teamed up with cinema chain Cathay Cineplexes over the school holidays to host a special pop-up kiosk at Cathay Cineplex Jem to solidify its 'pizza everywhere' concept. The pop-up provided movie-goers with a novel pizza dining experience in the cinema.

The collaboration with industry players such as FairPrice Finest and Cathay Cineplexes has enabled GOPIZZA to extend beyond traditional outlets to diverse locations such as malls, hawker centres, schools, petrol stations, and now, theatres and supermarkets.

This strategic move underscores GOPIZZA's commitment to transforming the pizza experience, making it convenient for people across all walks of life.

GOPIZZA’s “shop-in-shop” strategy also allows its outlets in Singapore to immediately absorb the existing footfall, thereby reducing investment
costs and operating expenses, allowing close to 40% of GOPIZZA stores to achieve EBITDA break-even within their first six months of operations, it said in a statement. 

“Having recently surpassed 200 global outlets, GOPIZZA is looking to exceed 1,200 outlets by the end of this year. Under the vision of 'the pizza everywhere company', GOPIZZA is committed to making high-quality pizza accessible, fast, and affordable for everyone, everywhere," said Jay Lim, Global CEO of GOPIZZA.

In tandem, the pizza brand will be opening over 1,000 outlets this year in South Korea alone and is aiming for over 1,200 outlets globally by the end of 2024.

This rapid scaling up comes on the back of a strategic partnership with GS25, South Korea’s leading convenience store brand following a successful trial at the GS25 The Gwan-Ak branch in Seoul which opened at the end of November last year.
