Mobile app agency GoGoChart hands Liam Lo VP of marketing role

Mobile app marketing agency GoGochart has promoted Liam Lo to vice president of marketing, effective from June 2021. In an exclusive interview with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, GoGoChart said Lo oversees a hybrid team for the company’s business development, client servicing and digital marketing initiatives.

Lo joined GoGoChart as in 2016 and has rotated in multiple functions including business development, marketing and client servicing, acting as the primary face and consultant of the company’s key offerings in mobile app marketing and app store optimisation (ASO). GoGoChart said Lo is the youngest member of GoGoChart’s management team.

In his new position, Lo continues to offer advice to clients with GoGoChart’s accumulated expertise in mobile app marketing; works with the team to diversify GoGoChart’s offerings, leveraging its insights and knowledge over the years to help clients with more holistic marketing strategies, as well as shares his experience and instills knowledge to the younger generation with more active presence in events and talks organised by local and overseas universities. 

“I always tell my clients, you need ASO for your app just as you need SEO for your website. ASO is only the starting point under the broad app market competition. Today, we receive more enquiries from brands seeking help with their marketing needs beyond just ASO. I’m excited to work together with the team to bring more compelling ideas and comprehensive offerings to our clients," Lo said. After the promotion, Lo has also become a public representative of the company, speaking at industry and university events with Daniel Lo, founder and CEO of GoGoChart.

“GoGoChart’s model is relatively less understood in Hong Kong and APAC even until now. It’s rewarding to win trust from more and more brands in a wide range of industries such as fintech, eCommerce, gaming and consumer brands. More effective educations need to be done and our vision is to become the world’s best digital marketing agency who is specialised in mobile app marketing," Daniel Lo added. 

Looking ahead, Daniel Lo said the company will also explore more possibilities as an all-rounded service provider to more brands.
