Genki Sushi's campaign recalls important moments in life with HKers

Genki Sushi, a Japanese chain restaurant under Maxim's Group, has unveiled a brand campaign showcasing the important moments in life that the brand has shared with HongKongers throughout the years.

Embodying the brand’s spirit of “living the Genki life”, Genki Sushi takes everyone on a journey of life’s important moments through the campaign, highlighting the power of connection between great sushi and life. The campaign targets young families with children, university students and young adults.

To reach a broader and younger audience, Genki Sushi has also partnered with Japanese singer-songwriter, imase, to compose a theme song that embodies the brand’s spirit of “LIVE THE GENKI LIFE”. It is an ongoing campaign starting from 16 October.

As part of the campaign, Genki Sushi is also launching a time-limited promotion to thank the customers for their support over the past 28 years, where a total of 10 classic items will be sold at a discounted price from 16 October until 20 October 2023. The items include Genki Sushi’s signature Genki Roll, Deep-Fried Shrimp Roll, and a variety of top-selling sushi and hot dishes.

In addition, Genki Sushi will also launch a new core menu on 19 October, introducing a variety of new products and healthy green choice options.

In terms of the medium of promotion, the campaign spans various media platforms such as TV, social media such as Facebook and Instagram, and YouTube. Static ads will also be displayed on bus bodies, Sogo TV, MTR concourse and trackside panels, as well as the Causeway Place billboard.
