Generali Asia names Cecilia Chang as new CEO for HK

Generali Asia has appointed Cecilia Chang (pictured) as chief executive officer of Generali Life (Hong Kong) and general manager of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. Hong Kong branch. She will report directly to Roberto Leonardi, regional officer for Asia.

Chang joined Generali Group in 2016 in Hong Kong as head of financial lines and underwriting for the global corporate and commercial (GC&C) business in Asia and relocated to Milan in 2018 as global head of financial lines and underwriting in GC&C.

Prior to joining Generali, Chang began her insurance career as a corporate lawyer for a Chicago based carrier and moved on to hold leadership positions in underwriting at multinational carriers in the USA and Asia.

Back in March this year, Generali Asia has named Davide Glavina as chief executive officer of Generali Life (Hong Kong) and general manager of Assicurazioni Generali Hong Kong Branch.

Glavina is a seasoned management executive with over 24 years of international experience in insurance and financial services. In his previous role, Glavina was the head of finance of Generali International from 2018, steering the finance functions across Asia, Americas, Southern Europe, Spain and Switzerland.
