Gaming and esports media company Ampverse has appointed Jenny Hall (pictured third from left) to the newly created role of director for sales and brand partnerships for Southeast Asia. Based in Singapore, Hall joins the team with more than 10 years of experience in brand partnerships and global client sales. She was most recently the director of brand partnerships at Talenthouse, and previously ran the P&G account at Kantar for over three years.

Additionally, the company also named?Sutthathep Makmee (pictured left) head of sales for Thailand.?Bringing over 18 years experience in the mobile and online industry, Makmee has held senior sales and marketing roles at DAZN, Komli Media, True Digital, BECi Corporation and Samsung Electronics. Both will report into Charlie Baillie (pictured second from right), CCO at Ampverse. The two roles were created in response to the company's continued growth across Southeast Asia.

According to Ampverse, since its launch in Singapore and Thailand in August, it has already worked with more than advertisers, and among the list of brands it has collaborated with include Samsung, Garnier Men, EA entertainment, Shell, DTAC, and Tesco Lotus.

Hall said marketers are?already showing an increasing appetite for the gaming and esports opportunity, however where the real challenge lies is in navigating these subcultures and understanding how their brand can participate in a meaningful and authentic way.

"Helping educate and empower brands in this dynamic space will be a worthy challenge but I?m really excited to be working with Charlie, Ferdinand and the team to help accelerate the next chapter in Ampverse?s growth," she added.

According to Baillie,?the company is excited for attracting two quality hires in the midst of expanding the team.

"Since our launch, we?ve been impressed with the reception from brands seeking to create meaningful partnerships with gaming and esports talent. Adding these two new roles will help us to service these demands as we further expand across Southeast Asia. We?ll be growing our team in the coming months," he said.
