Former Wavemaker APAC CEO launches marketing consultancy ElucidateX

Wavemaker’s former APAC chief executive officer Gordon Domlija (pictured) has launched a Singapore-based independent marketing services consultancy ElucidateX after he left the Wavemaker. 

According to its website, ElucidateX is an independent marketing consultancy passionate about helping businesses grow and thrive in the competitive world. Its remit include offering business transformation solutions and marketing challenges with an unbiased perspective and provide objective recommendations based on data and research, rather than being influenced by personal biases or vested interests.

ElucidateX is equipped with expertise in China, India and South East Asia from working with brands in the regions, developing their go-to market plans, marketing effectiveness goals, commerce strategies and digital transformation roadmaps. The team worked with brands across the entire spectrum of maturity in the region, from developing market entry strategies, start-ups looking to scale at various stages of funding, and well established global brands looking to capitalise on the dynamically changing digital and commerce landscape in the region.

Back in February this year, Domlija left Wavemaker after five years at the agency. Domlija led the launch of Wavemaker in China and North Asia in 2017, merging MEC and Maxus into one formidable company. In 2018, he took the role of CEO Wavemaker APAC. Prior to Wavemaker, he was at MEC as China CEO, doubling revenue within two years through digital capability building and a new business drive, he described. He had also been chief strategy officer at Mediacom China for two years.

Having moved to China in 2008, his first role was at Mindshare as managing director, where he was responsible for accelerating business performance, content planning and strategic capability through leadership of our assignments with clients such as Unilever, Nike, Land Rover and L'Oréal.
