Former JWT creative Alan Leong heads to GOODSTUPH to take on ECD role

Former creative director of J. Walter Thompson, Alan Leong, has joined GOODSTUPH as its new executive creative director. Leong was JWT’s former head of social content and regional creative director for HSBC, with a myriad of clients under his portfolio including Changi Airport Group, Kit Kat, HSBC, Pizza Hut, Friso, and Singapore Tourism Board. Leong was part of the pitch team that won Singapore Bicentennial for the agency. “A hybrid like Leong is far and between. While he is extremely well-tuned with the ever-changing demands of digital advertising, he understands the importance of strong brand narratives. He is unique in that he marries technology and storytelling in a way that produces the best blend in social-first communications. We look forward in creating great work for our clients with Alan’s finesse,” Pat Law, founder, GOODSTUPH, said. Leong will be working closely with Law to execute creative work for the agency and its clients. GOODSTUPH currently works with notable brands such as Bosch, Changi Airport Group, Economic Development Board Singapore, Hewlett Packard, Glenfiddich, Singtel, The Macallan, Unilever Singapore and United Overseas Bank. In 2017, the agency also expanded to the Indonesia market, headed by GM Joshua Tan.
