Former Havas Group Singapore GM Joseph Chua joins Aiken Digital

Former Havas Group Singapore general manager Joseph Chua (pictured) has joined design agency Aiken Digital as managing partner. Aiken Digital has a presence in China, and established in Singapore in 2019. Some of the clients it has worked with include Ferrari, Finnair, Shiseido, and Mastercard, among several others.
With Havas Group Singapore, Chua's remit covered the creative side of the business with a focus on client service, strategic thinking, innovation and effectiveness, leveraging the integrated capabilities of the agency. He joined the agency in 2018, as Havas was evolving its management structure to bring together creative, media, digital and public relations under the Havas Village umbrella.
Marketing has reached out to Chua and Havas for a statement.
Prior to taking on the role at Havas, Chua was APAC chief operation officer at digital agency, Resn Asia. Working with clients such as Adidas Originals and Huawei, Chua was responsible for the agency’s strategic growth and launch in China. Previously, he worked with J.Walter Thompson as director of digital, where he led the digital department across the full portfolio of JWT Hong Kong and Singapore clients.
According to his LinkedIn, he directly handled the Nikon APAC account as regional business director APAC, while co-currently serving as digital lead for Singapore office brands Changi Airport and CPF Board. Chua has also managed and worked with Unilever's Lux. He served with JWT for over three years.
Previously, Chua also had a stint with Leo Burnett. Leading digital and CRM for SK-II global, he oversaw P&L and managed the teams across ASEAN, Japan, Korea and Greater China. Chua was also heading up the operations for the Proctor & Gamble account in Singapore simultaneously. In his early days with Leo Burnett, he also worked on Courts briefly, aiding the retail company in through the line executions encompassing shopper marketing.
