Flock bolsters creative and strategy teams with new hires

Flock has appointed Hendry Chou (pictured centre) as digital creative lead, Yulita Alvernia Wijaya (pictured right) as senior strategist and Maria Angelica (pictured left) as lead strategist.Hendry Chou will be tasked to launch the UI and UX studio as well as sharpen Flock’s digital offerings, responsible for building synergy between the overall product experience and creative storytelling. Chou was most recently a creative director at Mirum (previously XM Gravity), where he was involved in changing the direction of the company to a more creative model, having started leading the company’s creative department in 2016.As senior strategist, Yulita Alvernia Wijaya will assist in Flock’s strategic lab department. Prior to the move, Wijaya was a senior strategist at Mirum, and was with Ogilvy Indonesia before that. She has worked with brands such as Konimex, Heinz ABC, The Coca Cola Company Indonesia, Unilever, and Indofood.Also joining the strategy team is lead strategist Maria Angelica, who will take lead in building the team and consider consumer mindsets, attitudes and behaviours as part of the strategy. Angelica brings with her nine years of experience with multinational agencies such as Young & Rubicam Indonesia, Publicis Indonesia, J. Walter Thompson Jakarta, and Ogilvy Indonesia.Flock CEO Ivan Hadywibowo described the new hires as the “best talents” to be a part of the expansion plan for the company, he added: “I’m really excited with what we can offer as a whole network for our clients. Chou, Angelica, and Wijaya will bring a wealth of experience to the agency, and we’re ready to take our business forward from here."
