Fitness company, F45 has apologised for posting a "racially insensitive" Deepavali video. The F45 Serangoon Garden South branch was under fire for sharing a now-deleted Instagram story that was shared on Thursday. In the Instagram story, two Chinese members were seen bobbling their heads and saying Happy Deepavali to the camera.

Displeased by the post, netizens have posted their comments, with one user calling the story, "tasteless".

F45 Serangoon Garden Branch has acknowledged the feedback from users and apologised in an Instagram post. "We are sorry for the mistakes and hope to seek your forgiveness," said the Instagram story. F45 also added that it was never their intentions to make fun or hurt anyone's feelings.

Separately, foodpanda Malaysia has also come under fire last month when it posted its Bollywood-inspired Pollywood video on YouTube. The video was called out for not featuring Indian talents and for appropriating Indian talents. The music video which coped flak was created as a teaser for its campaign titled #TakkanTakTahu. However, the bite size ad taken as a standalone ad by many, was thought to be "poorly conceived", "stereotypical" and "not representative of Indian culture in general" by many netizens in Malaysia.
