Southeast Asia esports company EVOS Esports has launched an online campaign dubbed "Save Our Tiger" as part of its commitment to preserve the Sumatran tigers. The campaign includes the launch of limited edition merchandise designed in collaboration with local artists, whereby 100% of the profits through sales are said to be donated to the Sumatran tiger conservation initiative according to the press release.
Aimed at supporting the conservation of endangered Sumatran tigers, the campaign falls in conjunction with World Tiger Day on 29 July. Using illustrations inspired by the tiger tone, the merchandise will be available in four products, namely t-shirts, zipped hoodies, tote bags and bucket hats. The t-shirts and hoodies also come with integrated Instagram Augmented Reality (AR) filters.
The merchandise is said to be available in limited quantities though EVOS Official Store in Lazada, an eCommerce platform in Southeast Asia, part of the Alibaba Group. Through this campaign, EVOS Esports hopes to increase the awareness of fans and the public to support the conservation and stop the poaching of Sumatran tigers and other endangered species.
