Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among females in Hong Kong. To engage the public and raise funds to support its NGO partners, Estée Lauder (Hong Kong) has once again launched the Breast Cancer Campaign.

In collaboration with Flare Communications, the campaign marked its 28th anniversary with the theme of “It’s more than a ribbon. It unites us." This year's initiatives include the new Pink Ribbon Colouring Challenge, which encourages the public to share their own version of the iconic ribbon on social media. Those interested can participate by signing up to download a pink ribbon template or design it online. Participants can also choose to donate money to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation and the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry to support care services for breast cancer patients.

Apart from this online campaign, Estée Lauder (Hong Kong) has released a video on breast cancer awareness featuring celebrities Cecilia So and Cecilia Choi, as well as a group of influencers, sharing the importance of early detection and the steps that can be taken to prevent the disease.

Estée Lauder (Hong Kong) has also collaborated with New World Development to provide information on breast cancer awareness to the public through their app.

“Estée Lauder (Hong Kong) is fully committed to breast cancer prevention, education and awareness," said Vicki Au, Estée Lauder Hong Kong and Macau affiliate managing director, at a virtual opening ceremony to kick off the campaign.

"As we see more younger women diagnosed with breast cancer, it is our mission to find new ways to reach out to the wider public, to raise both awareness and funds.”
