Domino's Pizza Malaysia has announced that it is on the hunt for a chief spicy officer.
A chief spicy officer is a pizza enthusiast with a love for spicy food, according to Domino's. Domino's Pizza will be offering the chosen chief spicy officer a day filled with exclusive perks where they will be chauffeured to their workplace and be given a personal assistant for a day.
The chief spicy officer will also get the opportunity to network with executives from Domino's and learn insights from the company.
"The chief spicy officer role is a unique responsibility for qualified Malaysians to turn their passion for spice into a rewarding opportunity. We are seeking an individual with an unwavering love for all things spicy and the ability to inspire people to spice up their lives. If you ever dreamt of holding a C-suite position for a day, now is your chance to turn that dream into a reality," said Domino's Pizza Malaysia & Singapore group chief marketing officer, Linda Hassan, in a statement.

In addition, the chief spicy officer will also be part of an upcoming exclusive product launch.
The Chief Spicy Officer posting will be amplified through Domino's social media channels - LinkedIn, FB & IG, website and news release issuance to the media desks.
The chosen individual will also receive remuneration and benefits tailored to their skills and experience and receive a complimentary one-year supply of pizza.
This announcement comes in time for the return of the Domino's Ssamjeang pizza. The new Ssamjeang loaded supreme pizza is spicy pizza featuring streaky beef strips, crunchy chicken, nori strips and bold Ssamjeang sauce.
Also joining the Ssamjeang pizza lineup are Ssamjeang Smokey Beef, Ssamjeang Chicken and Ssamjeang Tuna.
“The enduring passion Malaysians have for spicy food is undeniable. As we introduce spicy variants to our menu, we are offering Malaysians the opportunity to work alongside us and take on an important role that oversees all things spicy at Domino’s," said Hassan.
Interested applicants must submit a video to become Domino's chief spicy officer on Instagram or TikTok. Applicants must explain why they should be appointed the role and tag Domino's Pizza.
Applications close on 7 December.
The chief spicy officer is just one of Domino's attempts at elevating its customer experience. On 24 November, the pizza company announced a new e-bike called the dxb delivery bike.
The e-bike features a built-in, fan-forced oven and shock absorbers system and is Domino's solution to ensure customers receive warm food upon delivery.
