Dimsum ties up with U Mobile to enhance its payment methods

Video subscription service dimsum has collaborated with telco U Mobile to enhance payment methods for its users in Malaysia. Through this partnership, dimsum subscribers will be able to pay for their subscriptions directly through their U Mobile account, choosing one out of five payment plans for all postpaid and prepaid U Mobile customers. The payment plans range from one week, one month, three months, six months and 12 months, and is auto-recurring. In addition, in line with Songkran, dimsum has rolled out a huge selection of Thai content, including drama series Love Destiny, In Family We Trust, Confusedly in Love, Friend Zone, and with Dead Time Stories and The Crime coming soon. “We are constantly enhancing dimsum’s payment process to make it more accessible. We believe that having U Mobile as our new billing partner will help us to achieve this,” said Lam Swee Kim, chief marketing officer at dimsum. Jasmine Lee, chief marketing officer of U Mobile said: “U Mobile’s customers are digitally savvy and always on the lookout for a variety of on-demand streaming services. Hence, we are pleased to make it even easier for them to enjoy their favourite Asian programmes on dimsum as they can now just pay for their subscription via their U Mobile prepaid or postpaid account.”
