Devi Attamimi takes helm as group CEO of Hakuhodo International Indonesia

Hakuhodo International Indonesia (HIID) has officially appointed Farhana Eldini Devi Attamimi (pictured, front left) as its new group CEO, marking a significant leadership transition as the organisation celebrates its 22nd anniversary.

Previously serving as director at HIID, Attamimi will also continue her role as institute director at the Hakuhodo Institute of Life and Living ASEAN. Her appointment signals HIID's ambition to become a centre of innovation and creativity in the region.

Devi's immediate focus will be on strengthening collaboration within the HIID ecosystem - comprising Hakuhodo Jakarta, Hybrid-H, H-Three, Hakuhodo Digital, I-DAC, and H+ - by implementing the modular organisation concept, according to a release. This structure will help enable the group to respond swiftly to industry shifts and client needs.

"Alongside Yuzuru Iguchi as the country director for Hakuhodo Japan, I aim to build a flexible organisation within the group, to create the best solutions for clients, the society, and the industry. My predecessors have built a strong foundation over the past 22 years, and moving forward, we will experiment more boldly and dive deeper into data," Attamimi stated.

Attamimi's leadership marks a structural shift within HIID, with its founding leaders stepping into commissioner roles: Irfan Ramli as chairman, Ferti Wiratih as co-chairwoman, and Mahendra Suyono as co-chairman.

Reflecting on this transition, Ramli (pictured, back left) remarked, "HIID has successfully navigated various dynamics and challenges, and achieving many milestones. We see enormous potential for the accelerated growth of the group, and in the near future, we might welcome two to three new companies into our group."

According to Ramli, Attamimi's appointment has been years in the making. "We are proud to have found a leader from within our organisation - someone who understands the values and culture of HIID. Though part of a global network, uniquely, we are known more as an Indonesian company with an international standard," he said.

Founded in 1895, Hakuhodo is a Tokyo-based integrated advertising and communications group with operations in 20 countries and over 10,000 specialists worldwide. HIID is part of the global Hakuhodo network and a strategic player in Indonesia's advertising industry, established in 2003.
