Design Bridge, a design agency based in Singapore has appointed Alexandra Cerruti (pictured) as its new managing director. Stepping up from her previous role as client services director, Cerruti will lead the Singapore studio’s business and clients alongside Mark Budden, Design Bridge’s APAC regional chairman, and the studio’s executive creative director, Tim Siro. Marketing has reached out for further comments.

As the MD, Cerruti will be responsible for driving revenue growth within existing client relationships in APAC, as well as steering the new business strategy for the Singapore studio’s business. Additionally, she is also tasked with driving the growth of people within her team, and amplifying the agency’s philosophy and approach to design both internally and externally.

Cerruti brings with her 13 years of experience working in the creative industry to her new role. Prior to working at Design Bridge, she helmed the role as a senior consultant at Carré Noir – Publicis’ French strategic design agency, for four years. Based in France, she relocated to Singapore in 2013 to join the client servicing team at Design Bridge, working her way up through the ranks to become client services director in 2018.

Clients that Cerruti has worked with include Nestlé and Standard Chartered, with an ongoing partnership with Diageo. According to Design Bridge, it has helped Diageo sell over 30 million cases to enable McDowell’s No.1 whisky to regain its position as the world’s largest whisky brand, five years after losing the top spot.

Budden said since Cerruti joined the team seven years ago, she had been “instrumental in shaping and growing the business” of the agency’s Singapore studio. “Growing talent at Design Bridge is key to our continued success and I’m really excited to promote Cerruti to the role of MD in Singapore. With a proven track record of building client relationships with strong bonds and leading outstanding creativity on projects, I have every confidence of her success, continuing to build upon the Singapore studio’s strong foundations,” Budden added.

Meanwhile, Cerruti said that Design Bridge’s uniqueness around the world came from its people and its culture, and she was proud to work for a company that had four of its five global MDs as women. “Alongside my colleagues, I am committed to championing female empowerment and creative leadership, and striving for a more inclusive industry. The way we nurture our client relationships is another of our core strengths, and when you pair all of this with the amazing quality of our creative work, what we can achieve collectively has no limits,” she added.
