Dentsu APAC CEO exits his role

One month after the company expanded his remit, Rohit Ohri, CEO of Dentsu Asia Pacific, excluding Japan, has quit his post.Marketing earlier reported that Dentsu Aegis Network expanded Ohri's role as the head of Dentsu India to cover the Asia Pacific market, based in Singapore.However, a spokesperson from Dentsu confirmed to Marketing that he has quit his role.Orhi will join Interpublic Group's creative agency FCB Ulka India as group chairman and CEO.According to The Economic Times, Ohri will take up the new assignment in January 2016 as Nagesh Alai, FCB Ulka's current CEO and group chairman, will assume the role of global vice-chairman at FCB.Ohri resigned after four years at the company. Prior to Dentsu Aegis, Ohri was managing partner at JWT where he held the role for 21 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
