Footwear brand Crocs has partnered streetwear brand Pizzaslime to release another limited-edition shoe for its annual Croc Day celebration in October. Each pair of #CrocDay shoe will come with a custom assortment glow-in-the-dark charms and is only available as a mystery order.

The limited-edition style of its Classic Clog has been launched globally on crocs.com for US$59.99, starting 23 October. It is the first time that Crocs has launched the shoe charms with UV light, named "#Croc Day Is Lit Jibbitz".

Crocs SVP and CMO Terence Reilly said the collection seeks to appeal to its loyal and passionate fan base who embody the brand's mantra, "Come As You Are". He added: "Our fans have been celebrating Croctober around the globe and on Croc Day, I can't wait to release these amazing, one-of-a-kind classic clogs. They are truly something special, and we're excited to grow and glow together."

Meanwhile, Pizzalime co-founder, known only as Stoveman, said the partnership makes sense as Crocs has an extremely loyal following and is popular in the streetwear space. He added that it "embraces individuality and self-expression like no other".

National Croc Day was started by the company for fans to celebrate all things Crocs with the shared hashtag #CrocDay. Last year's limited-edition Croc Day shoe was sold out within hours, according to the press release.
