With AI becoming more widespread among consumers and marketers alike, content production has increased by 56.7% since the year ChatGPT launched as content generation becomes easier than ever.
The substantial growth is seven times higher than the typical increase in rate of content production which averages at 7% per year, underscoring the impact of gen AI tools such as ChatGPT and Bard on the output of marketers.

These were the results of digital asset management provider Bynder’s latest study that aims to uncover the impact of gen AI tools on the amount of content created and managed by marketers.
The study also revealed that the increase in content production is unlikely to slow down as the average marketer is predicted to be responsible for creating 23% more content than they do today in 2030.
“Artificial intelligence has emerged as a formidable force for marketers, reshaping the landscape of the industry and providing the tools to curate compelling and dynamic content,” said Warren Daniels, chief marketing officer at Bynder.
In tandem, the assets served online are also predicted to increase dramatically, signalling a need for content to be delivered to an increasing number of channels and touchpoints in the industry.
More specifically, more than 72 million pieces of content will be served online in the next six years.
As more businesses leverage AI, Anthropic has released a new 'team' plan for companies across industries to leverage its latest Claude 3 model and shape their workflows based on their teams' needs and goals in a bid to capture corporate dollars.
Built with security and data privacy in mind, Claude helps protect sensitive business information and is a family of foundational AI models that can be used in a variety of applications, it said in a statement.
