Citygate and Chupa Chups partner up to fill the air with sweetness

Citygate Outlets has collaborated with global confectionery brand Chupa Chups to bring to life a “FUNtastic World” as part of its festive campaign for offer children and adults hands-on experiences in lollipop making. 

Running until 2 January 2023, Chupa Chups fills the air with sweetness via six colourful interactive hotspots, including the iridescent five-metre-tall “Jolly Lolly Balloons” at L2 Bridge, the six-metre-tall immersive “Lolly School Hall”, the sweet-smelling “Lolli-POP Machine”, the viral “FUN-wrap Station”, the children-friendly “Mega Chupa Chups” inside “FUNtastic Lolly Academy” at The Atrium, and the “FUNtastic Lolly Wall” next to cdf Beauty on L2. Shoppers with a Lolly Virtual Campus Pass can participate in interactive classes to collect Chupa Chups e-stamps for the redemption of a limited-edition Chupa Chups Solid Gel Air Freshener.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the magic of the illusionary Chupa Chups universe for an immersive experience filled with sweet sensations inside the six-metre-tall Lolly School Hall. Furthermore, customers can get an understanding of lollipop making via the Lolli-POP Machine with a conveyor belt full of candies that are in the process of being made.

machineFurthermore, the first-ever Chupa Chups pop-up store in Hong Kong will also be offering 60 thematic merchandises, from skincare to homeware and to stationery and candies. Notably collectibles such as the Citygate Outlets-exclusive crossover stationery and handpicked Thai Chupa Chups products launched officially in Hong Kong for the first time.

Recently, Citygate Outlets has joined hands with an eco-preneur HK Timberbank to launch a Lautau-inspired wood bench, so as to raise public awareness on natural resource regeneration and living a more sustainable lifestyle. Inspired by the Lantau landform, a 9.6-metre long wood bench was transformed from the collected wood and is now placed on L2 at Citygate Outlets, providing a tranquil corner for Tung Chung community to connect with people and nature through art, creativity and sustainability.
