City Super’s CookedDeli in TST shuts down after 22 years

Retail chain City Super Group’s food court, CookedDeli will close its Tsim Sha Tsui Harbour City store on 20 February due to the end of the tenancy.
According to a statement on City'super's Facebook page, the closure of the CookedDeli Tsim Sha Tsui store is attributed to the conclusion of the lease term. Its last day of business will be next Monday (19 February 2024).
“Over the past 22 years, we have had the privilege of serving you international cuisines in a relaxing ambience. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, which has been the driving force behind our passion for culinary excellence,” the statement reads.
The post has received around 400 reactions, 35 comments and 48 shares. Netizens are expressing a deep sense of nostalgia regarding the closure of the CookedDeli Tsim Sha Tsui store. While some said this place holds cherished memories for them, some expressed their intention to visit and have a meal there once again before its closure next Monday.

Established in 1996, City Super Group is a Hong Kong-based retail chain and lifestyle specialty store. It opened its first store in Causeway Bay. Apart from CookedDeli, it operates restaurants iza’bis by city’super, cafe ToGather and speciality food counters at city’super stores such as FusionDeli, RFI, Little Mermaid and sweets house Cha Cha.
