Citibank hires McCann's Luke Tucker as head of marketing

Citibank Singapore has appointed Luke Tucker (pictured) as head of marketing for its consumer banking business. Tucker last helmed the role of regional group account director APAC at McCann WorldGroup, according to his LinkedIn.Prior to his time at McCann, Tucker was with DDB Group Australia between 2014 to 2017. He started as a senior account director at the agency before being promoted to group account director. In his role, he was responsible for the digital and data-driven communications at DDB Group (within TRACK Customer Marketing) for Australian bank Westpac. He also was tasked to manage the relationship with 60 day-to-day clients across the group's portfolios.Before DDB, he was an account director at Ogilvy. Based in Chicago, he was the strategic account lead on Beam's tequila brands, Sauza and Hornitos. According to his LinkedIn, he also spearheaded the activation strategy and program development, along with overseeing campaign execution. Tucker had formally led the Kraft Cheese integrated communications planning and Philadelphia CreamCheese brand repositioning for consumer activation channels.Tucker also previously worked as a brand manager at McDonald's between 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, he was with Campbell Arnotts. Marketing has reached out to Tucker and Citibank on his responsibilities as CMO.
