Chinese brands rise while Europe slows

Apple has remained the world’s leading brand with a brand value of EUR 136,903 billion (+21%), followed by Google, Microsoft and Coca Cola.The list, part of Eurobrand's Global Top 100 brand report, shows that while global brands are dominated by the US, China Mobile comes in a number six.Gerhard Hrebicek, CEO of Eurobrand, said Asia and especially China, are growing their presence in the TOP 100 while Europe is decreasing.China Mobile remains the number one Asian brand, with a value of EUR 48,679 billion (global rank 6) while Baidu shows the highest brand value increase of +47% (EUR 12,413 billion).GLOBAL TOP 100 examines more than 3,000 brand corporations and their brands in 16 industries, with comparisons of Europe, America and Asia.
