Changi Airport Group has appointed Tribal Worldwide Singapore as its digital creative agency to develop dedicated marketing campaigns for its online retail arm, iShopChangi.com. The appointment is for two years with an option to extend.Changi Airport is among the first airports to have its own e-commerce business. Launched in 2013 as an extension of Changi’s promise to deliver greater convenience to travellers in its suite of airport retail offerings, the online duty-free store has grown to now retail over 17,000 products found across all four airport terminals. The first campaign executed by Tribal for iShopChangi, Santa’s Great Getaway, launched last week ahead of the festive gifting season.“Since iShopChangi’s inception five years ago, the online retail landscape has evolved tremendously – and so have we. We recently unveiled a revamped interface in our continual efforts to captivate and inspire our customers. To continue that momentum, we have chosen Tribal as our partner to spearhead our digital marketing efforts towards an even more seamless and invigorating online shopping experience for travellers through Changi,” said Nicole Foo, general manager of online retail, Airside Concessions Division, Changi Airport Group.“We see a lot of potential in iShopChangi and believe that the work will allow us to flex our full capabilities of Total ExperienceTM where we create end-to-end solutions to deepen brand experience and further drive loyalty in customers. Changi Airport has always been a brand close to our hearts and we are excited to help them deliver a ‘first class’ touch to their customers,” said Leslie Goh, chief operating officer of Tribal Worldwide Singapore.
