Cetaphil's parent firm hands creative remit to Dentsu Creative

Skincare brand Galderma Malaysia has given Dentsu Creative the remit of its flagship consumer brand, Cetaphil’s thematic campaign ‘We Do Skin, You Do You’ to further strengthen its position in Malaysia.

With the appointment, Dentsu Creative will drive Cetaphil’s growth and pave the way for future partnerships with the brand through this campaign.

Looking ahead, Galderma Malaysia plans for dynamic collaborations, innovation and sustainable growth with Dentsu Creative. "Partnering with Dentsu Creative will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s future to win in the dermatological skincare marketplace," said Jessica Chan, the marketing manager of Galderma Malaysia. "We recognized Dentsu Creative’s vision through their digital creativity to understand our brand needs and the ambition we are looking into in the skincare industry. With this collaboration, we are looking forward to propel our brand to new heights in the Malaysian market and to connect with our target audience in impactful ways and integrated solutions."

Galderma Malaysia noted that they have found the right partner in Dentsu Creative to drive bold progression for the brands by raising the bar in creativity and innovation in science to provide the right care for all skin types.

Adding on, Janine Wai, the business director of growth and product at Dentsu Creative Malaysia noted that the team is excited to give Galderma and Cetaphil the boost needed to elevate the brand’s narrative and growth through interesting campaign ideas, compelling narratives and captivating experiences. "We will immerse ourselves into the skincare world market dynamics to inspire and craft tailored strategies to amplify Cetaphil’s presence and impact to a wider target group,” she said. 

The news comes shortly after Dentsu Creative APAC named Dan Paris as its new chief growth and product officer for its APAC region, according to the agency in a statement. Paris will report to Cheuk Chiang, Dentsu Creative APAC's CEO.

In his new role, Paris will focus on driving growth with regional clients and bringing new, modern creative products to the market across APAC. The appointment further demonstrates Dentsu Creative's commitment to strengthen its relationship with platform partners while also enabling access to new innovations and media firsts for its clients.
