Carro picks REDHILL as PR partner for three markets

Carro has appointed REDHILL as its public relations agency for Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand, following a pitch process in September. The appointment is for one year.In a statement to Marketing, REDHILL said that it will be handling all components of PR across the three markets. It has started work for Carro and will be rolling out throughout 2019. REDHILL added that the macro strategy for all three markets will remain consistent. However, tactics and execution in each market will differ based on the needs and Carro’s product offerings in each market.Headquartered in Singapore, REDHILL currently operates in 14 cities across 11 countries. With a team of 50, the agency works with brands such as General Mills, EXPO 2020, FWD, UOB Finlab and several others.“Carro is the fastest growing technology companies in its space in the ASEAN region. We are honoured to be entrusted with such a great responsibility, considering the intensity of the local storytelling and media outreach work involved in three separate markets in the region," Jacob Puthenparambil, partner, REDHILL said.Manisha Seewal, group CMO of Carro said that the company was "won over" by REDHILL's knowledge of Southeast Asian used car consumers and its media dynamics."We were also impressed by how the team was able to articulate how to apply their knowledge and activate media as well as influencers to achieve Carro’s corporate and consumer PR goals in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand," she added.
