Pizza brand Canadian Pizza has unveiled two of its newest and furriest team members in a 3D out of home (3DOOH) ad in Singapore.

Located at 111 Somerset, the 3DOOH ad starts with the brand's slogan "2 for 1" before sliding up to reveal two beavers, named Justin and Selena, swimming around in a pool.

@canadian241pizza News flash: Meet our newest (and furriest) team members, Justin and Selena! As the national animal of Canada, beavers hold a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to welcome Justin and Selena from the Mandai Wildlife Reserve to our family. Catch them at River Wonders’ Once Upon a River animal presentation every day at 11:30am & 4:30pm! #beavers #canadianpizza ♬ original sound - Canadian241pizza

In a TikTok post, Canadian Pizza said, "As the national animal of Canada, beavers hold a special place in our hearts."

"We're thrilled to welcome Justin and Selena from the Mandai Wildlife Reserve to our family," it added.

Justin and Selena are currently residing at River Wonders where they will be part of an animal presentation every day at 11:30am and 4:30pm.

Meanwhile, just a few stop away from Somerset, Singaporeans can catch the Singapore Grand Prix's (Singapore GP) latest 3DOOH ad at One Raffle Place.

The ad brings the anticipated action from the Marina Bay Street Circuit to onlookers in hopes to drive ticket sales and raise awareness of the upcoming race.

It starts with a Formula 1 race car speeding straight onto the track, with cameras flashing as it passes by the stands. The car then drifts and turns around to show off its hot wheels. The ad ends with fireworks over Singapore's Marina Bay skyline.

Interestingly, 3D billboard advertising is seeing a rise in Singapore and the region.

In conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE earlier in January this year, Kenneth Soh, head of marketing at Shopee Malaysia said "effective 3D billboard advertising requires an understanding that this has to be hyper-localised to the foot traffic of audiences in the area for maximum returns.

“To capture the right audience’s attention within the fleeting moments of exposure, it is crucial to deliver simple yet stunning visuals that convey a clear and concise story,” added Soh.

To effectively utilise these displays to make lasting impact on consumers, 3DOOH ads should also create a fear of missing out too.
