Burberry has unveiled a new campaign to celebrate the festive season with a fast-paced film where familiar moments of festive preparations are imagined through a distinctive Burberry lens: confidently individual, daringly original and free.
Also known as “The Night Before”, the campaign stars Colombian singer Shakira and Nigerian singer Burna Boy, each embodying their own interpretation of the exhilaration of the night before the Christmas.
Captured by the visionary TORSO, the film shows several episodes: presents in Burberry House Check pile upon each other as Burna Boy strides across freshly fallen snow, musicians rehearse to the rhythm of the season, Shakira stands on formal dinner tables that transform into a Burberry runway – the ultimate setting for self-expression and new takes on festive traditions.
The video campaign showcases the brand's latest festive collection including iconic outerwear from duffle coats in birch brown Burberry Check to beige car coats and accessories shimmer with metallic finishes and light-catching crystals.
MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Burberry for further information.
Back in October this year, Burberry has partnered with Minecraft to work on a multifaceted collaboration, which is centered around a customised in-game adventure titled Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond.
The in-game adventure is a fast-paced journey into the unknown that allows the player to explore four treacherous domains. Featuring 15 downloadable skins based on fashion, fantasy and adventure, the game reimagines journeys into nature through the power of adventure, according to the official website.
