Bupa Hong Kong has demonstrated the power of integrated healthcare with the launch of the Connected Care Expo, delivering a supportive and seamless healthcare experience to customers.
Held from 1 October until 14 October, the expo was held at Fashion Walk in Causeway Bay from 11am to 7pm every day, aiming to bring Bupa’s integrated services to life for the audience through real-time demonstrations and interactive exhibits, highlighting how it can deliver unparalleled benefits to customers through a combination of cutting-edge digital tools and compassionate, in-person care.
In a conversation with MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, a spokesperson from Bupa Hong Kong said the expo targets individuals who are passionate about health and wellness and seek greater control over their health, such as fitness enthusiasts; those looking for information on connected healthcare solutions to improve their health management experience; as well as healthcare professionals interested in staying informed about the latest advancements in connected care.
"These audiences align closely with potential Bupa customers who value a seamless healthcare journey, combining connected, high-quality insurance and healthcare services. They are also keen to leverage advanced technology for better health outcomes," said the spokesperson.
In addition, the expo serves as a platform to host exclusive sessions for Bupa's partners, including agents, brokers, healthcare professionals, and other business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and innovation in the healthcare space.
"Our commitment is to provide the right healthcare experiences, improve care coordination, and ensure the best possible outcomes for our customers. The expo features eight highlights including AI healthshot, AI fit PT, office wellness solution, eBooking, ePharmacy, traditional medicine cabinet insta-wall, Bupa AI health navigator, cancer care support, offering a glimpse into Bupa’s vision for the future of health and wellness, containing numerous interactive sections.

Bupa also appointed local artist aka DJ Ah Jeng as the ambassador for the Connected Care Expo as her vibrant, friendly, and energetic personality resonates deeply with its brand values, said the spokesperson. As a rising star on both radio and TV, she is widely admired in Hong Kong for her dedication to a healthy lifestyle—qualities that align perfectly with Bupa’s purpose to help people live a longer, healthier, happier life, and make a better world.

"Our previous collaboration with Ah Jeng during last year’s ‘Bupa all together’ campaign received overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers, which inspired us to continue this successful partnership[...] Building on this momentum, we’ve extended our collaboration to the Connected Care Expo with creative initiatives such as the AI Health Navigator—an AI-powered version of Ah Jeng. Using her voice, facial features, and body image, this AI version offers a lifelike and interactive experience, engaging with passersby and guiding them to the expo," said the spokesperson.
By integrating Bupa's health technology and expertise with Ah Jeng’s influence, the brand aimed to attract more visitors and create meaningful interactions at the expo in Causeway Bay. "Beyond increasing footfall, the collaboration sought to boost awareness of Bupa's distinctive competitive advantages, showcasing the value we offer through our Connected Care strategy to improve the overall healthcare experience for our customers."
