Riding on Singaporeans’ love for all things sweet and delicious during the festive season and to help singles find their partners, dating app Bumble will be taking over Uncle Chieng’s ice cream cart for the month of December, located in the heart of Singapore’s shopping district in Orchard Road.
With 4 in 5 (80%) Singaporean singles looking to find a long-term partner in the next year, the Bumble ice cream cart aims to bring together like-minded individuals, offering singles a space to find out more about Bumble’s Dating Trends 2025 as they connect over a sweet treat.

From 12pm - 10pm on Saturdays and Sundays from 14 December to 29 December, Bumble and Uncle Chieng will be giving the first 200 people daily who present their Bumble profile a complimentary sweet treat accompanied with dating tips inspired by Bumble’s Dating Trends 2025.
In line with the launch, the dating app has also launched a new ice cream interest badge. This new badge can be added to one’s profile - an easy way to kickstart one's holiday romance and connect with fellow singles who share a similar sweet-tooth this season. After all, one in two women (54%) shared that showing up authentically while dating means leaning into their passions and interests.
The takeover complements the offline experiences that Bumble has organised as part of its commitment to foster meaningful online-to-offline connections.
“In 2025, we’re seeing a big shift towards real-ness in the dating game with more people taking the time to truly find somebody that supports their unique interests," said Chen Meihui, APAC Communications Lead at Bumble.
"By blending Bumble’s empowering approach to dating with moments of in-person connection, we hope to spread some holiday cheer by helping singles navigate their journey to love this festive season,” Chen added.
With Bumble’s Dating Trends 2025 observing the rise of micro-communities in the year ahead, Bumble also teamed up with Urban Milers Run Club in November for a morning run singles mixer event, where singles could find someone who matched their pace and bond over their shared love of running.
The activation attracted over 150 runners who attended the session. Not only do such activations help identify partners, start conversations and build compatibility, this also forms meaningful connections as half (56%) of Gen Z singles agree that geeking out on something together is a form of intimacy.
