Technology PR agency, Bud,has announced a series of account wins across the APAC region, which includes global brands such as DHL Express, MindFi, Capgemini Invent, Tokocrypto, Yellow.ai, and MoEngage.
The recent retainer wins, all following a pitch, expand Bud’s current B2B and B2C roster, and cover a wide range of integrated communications services: content, events, creative campaigns, social media and community counsel, as well as brand and strategic messaging.
Since its launch in 2020, Bud has more than tripled in size with clients ranging from global enterprises to SEA-born start-ups. Last June, Bud bagged seven new regional and global accounts, which allowed the communications agency to deepen and expand their expertise into gaming, cybersecurity, health tech, ad tech, fintech, and Web3 spaces. Bud is currently expanding its team, with an open headcount of entry, mid-level, and director roles across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
On its new partnerships, CEO and founder Oliver Budgen said: “From the beginning, we wanted to create a best-in-breed partner for challenger tech brands in a kinetic state. We’re delighted to see our proposition connect with such inspiring technology brands, who themselves are using technology to change the world around us.”
Budgen added that technology innovation is increasingly becoming a focal point in APAC, and that Bud’s positioning and focus in SEA has been no accident, with firm plans to expand more deeply into new APAC markets this year.
Meanwhile, Vartika Verma, global VP of marketing at Yellow.ai said that as an innovative global technology brand, it is important that Yellow.ai collaborates with a communications partner that thrives on agility and out-of-the-box thinking such as Bud. "Throughout our interactions, we found the team at Bud to be creative and collaborative and they demonstrated a deep understanding of the category and our business. We believe that this partnership will help further elevate our brand in a critical region and we look forward to doing some extraordinary work together," Verma said.
Similarly, Baradhwaj R, marketing director of MoEngage, added: “Customer obsession, ownership, and data-driven are some of our core values at MoEngage; we expect the same in our partnership. The Bud communications team has been phenomenal with their response right from the evaluation call. With a strong understanding of technology and Software-as-a-Service, they perfectly align with our overall PR strategy.”
