Bonsey Jaden hands Daniel Loo regional ECD reins

Bonsey Jaden has appointed Daniel Loo as regional ECD, bringing with him over 20 years of experience. He was previously regional head of copy at Grab and also worked at Ogilvy, McCann, and Hakuhodo. Some of the brands Loo (pictured) has worked with include Toyota, OCBC Bank, Maxis, Nestlé, GSK, Pizza Hut, Carlsberg, Libresse, and Unilever.
Loo explained that he as really drawn to the agency's adaptable and very flexible culture because one thing he has learnt over the past two decades is there are no clear-cut solutions, especially now.
"The digital space has expanded and changed so much. I’ve always been interested in the way advertising evolves, so it’s been both fascinating and daunting to witness that change, but it’s also taught me that these soft skills—being resilient, being curious, being able to wrap your head around the experiences of others—are objectively far more valuable than society would have us believe," he added.
Meanwhile, Daniel Posavac, co-founder and CEO of Bonsey Jaden Group, said the team is very fortunate to have connected with Loo at the right time. "It’s not often you come across talent with such depth and breadth of experience, who also knows when and how to bend or break a rule if it’s just going to work. I feel that Loo's work speaks for itself, and we are excited about him joining our leadership team and heading up one of our largest teams in the business." he added.
A few months ago in April, the agency brought on board Sherwin Kukreja to the newly created role of head of social media. He was previously with Yoodo as head of social for three years and also worked at Leo Burnett Malaysia and VLT Malaysia.
Separately, in addition to his role as co-founder and CEO of Bonsey Jaden Group, Posavac is also MD of CUE Southeast Asia. Bonsey Jaden sold a majority stake to China-based digital technology group CUE Group last year to enhance the latter's expansion across Asia and the US. It also appointed Zainudin Nordin as executive director of CUE Southeast Asia.
Prior to the acquisition, Posavac had driven the growth of the Singapore-headquartered agency for almost a decade and will continue to be hands-on in leading and expanding their client portfolio globally. Meanwhile, Zainudin will focus on driving strategic developments across the region and exploring growth opportunities for the company.
