BOCHK promotes wealth management among youngsters with immersive water concert

Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK)’s sub-brand “Banking TrendyToo” has joined hands Ocean Park Water World to unveil multi-sensory immersive water concert “TrendyToo SPLASH!” to elevate consumer experience and encourage more young consumers to use wealth management services.

Since its launch last year, the “Banking TrendyToo” brand has built on four main pillars including “Chill Banking+”, “Smart Investing+”, “Happy Spending+”, and “Cool Living+”, providing financial services that tailor to young customers’ needs. Coupled with the brand’s Instagram page “Banking TrendyToo Café”, which offers practical financial tips and lifestyle offers, the “Banking TrendyToo” brand aims to better engage with the younger segment.

Taking place on 9 September, the Horizon Cove at the Ocean Park Water World will be transformed to stage the multi-sensory immersive water concert, where performances featuring teen celebrities such as Gigi Yim and the brand’s ambassador Aska Cheung will be enhanced by kaleidoscopic lighting effects. The audience will also get to enjoy great music on floaties and indulge in an immersive concert experience that stimulates all senses.

To reach a wider audience, customers of “Banking TrendyToo” may get free tickets to “TrendyToo SPLASH!” after finishing designated missions. Meanwhile, BOCHK has teamed up with some sports retailers including Marathon, Catalog and GigaSports to offer specialised discounts. 

Commenting on the initiative, Yim said: “As a recent Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) graduate, I could feel the stress from exam. I hope other HKDSE graduates will join me at this event to chill out and enjoy the summer night with all the fabulous music and dance performances!” 

Joining Yim at the “TrendyToo SPLASH!” concert, local girl group Lolly Talk shared, "We enjoy having fun in water park and getting sun-kissed, so we can’t wait to perform at the concert in a fresh summer look! We are looking forward to meeting the audience and do a massive singalong in this whole-new concert setting.”
