BCA sees gold at the Marketing Excellence Awards Indonesia 2024

In a testament to its unwavering marketing prowess, Bank Central Asia (BCA) once again secured the prestigious "Marketer of the Year" title at the Marketing Excellence Awards Indonesia 2024. The banking giant dominated the competition, clinching an impressive 10 gold, seven silver, and four bronze awards.

BCA's winning campaigns, such as "HUT BCA 67 #BikinTambahMeriah (Make it merrier)", "Expoversary 2024", "Advanced predictive analytics solutions for BCA EXPO campaign", "Kisah jejak #BuktiBaktiBCA", and "Paylater BCA" demonstrated their excellence across a diverse spectrum of categories. These included Excellence in Brand Awareness, Excellence in CSR/Cause Marketing, Excellence in Data-Driven Marketing, Excellence in Event Marketing, and Excellence in Integrated Marketing, highlighting their holistic and impactful marketing strategies.

Danone Indonesia emerged as a strong contender, amassing three gold, six silver, and three bronze awards. Their noteworthy win included Gold in Excellence in Consumer Insights/Market Research for their insightful campaign "Consumer centricity as catalyst to unlock category barriers".

Unilever Indonesia followed closely with four gold, three silver, and one bronze awards. Their innovative "Wall’s ice cream’s AI-powered personalised Ramadan greeting cards bring joy to consumers’ friends & family" campaign earned them gold in Excellence in AI-Powered Storytelling, highlighting the growing importance of technology in creative marketing.

Rekso Nasional Food (McDonald's) also made their presence felt, securing three gold and two silver awards. Their standout campaign, "The untranslated Ad", garnered them gold in Excellence in Advertising, underscoring the power of creative and unconventional approaches.

Other notable winners included Amerta Indah Otsuka, Fast Retailing Indonesia, CIMB Niaga, Grab Indonesia, Mondelēz International, Sasa Inti, and Shell Indonesia, demonstrating the vibrant and competitive marketing landscape in Indonesia.

The winners were honoured at a grand awards gala celebration held at The Westin Jakarta on 4 October 2024.
