Advertising agency BBH Singapore has appointed Stéphane Missier (pictured) as chief strategy officer. He replaces Chris Chalk, who left the agency in December last year.

Within his new role, Missier will lead a team of 12 strategists and work with clients including Samsung, Nike, UOB and Income Insurance. Missier will be working closely with Sascha Kuntze, chief creative officer and Sid Tuli, managing director to further grow and elevate the company's global ambitions in Singapore.

Missier brings two decades of expertise to the agency, having spearheaded award-winning and culturally impactful campaigns for brands such as Nike, Team USA, FanDuel and Bud Light.

Before joining BBH Singapore, Missier was the former group strategy director at Wiedon & Kennedy, where he spent ten years working in New York and Amsterdam. Prior to that, he worked at a variety of international agencies , including Sid Lee, mcgarrybowen, Saatchi & Saatchi X, The Vidal Partnership and Lowe and Partners Worldwide.

“I’m so grateful for everything Chalk did for us over the last three years and I wish him all the very best as he relocates back home. Stéphane is an incredibly talented and highly experienced strategist that has shaped some of the most culturally significant campaigns of the past decade. He’s lived and worked in eight countries before Singapore, helping build the biggest brands anywhere, and he is exactly the type of talent we need to take us forward," said Tuli.

Additionally, Missier said, "BBH Singapore is building a global agency for a new era. Its commitment to building a culture where difference thrives and embracing the diversity of its clients sets it apart from the crowd. I’ve always considered myself a black sheep and have long admired the work of BBH. I’m thrilled to join the flock and begin this exciting journey.”

MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to BBH Singapore for more information.

In March last year, BBH Singapore collaborated with media agency The Shophouse @ Publicis and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) on a global campaign titled "Made in Singapore", inviting citizens from around the world to experience the "quintessentially Singapore" by launching a series of 3D billboards in certain cities globally. The campaign aimed to invite the world to Singapore and experience where the ordinary is made extraordinary. This also aligns with STB’s commitment to being a “Passion Made Possible” destination brand.
