BBH Asia Pacific Singapore’s group creative director Xander Lee (pictured) has left the company after six years, according to a post by Lee on LinkedIn.

“Six years ago, BBH Asia Pacific Singapore took a leap of faith in me, offering me a place within the flock. Today, I find myself bidding a fond farewell to this remarkable agency and the exceptional talents I’ve had the privilege of working alongside," he said.

"Thank you for allowing me to be the creative that I’ve always dreamt to be," he added.

Lee joined BBH APAC as creative director in 2017. In the course of the four years he spent in the position, he worked with clients such as Nike, Uber, The Walt Disney Company, Meta, and Riot Games. He was then promoted to group creative director in 2021.

Prior to BBH, Lee was with OgilvyOne Worldwide Singapore for over nine years from 2008. He joined as a designer and quickly rose through the ranks to interactive art director, senior art director and then creative director. He left the agency in 2017.

The news comes shortly after Singapore insurer, Income and BBH Singapore launched a film showcasing Income’s enhanced Covid-19 travel insurance.

Directed by pioneer Singaporean horror film director, Kelvin Tong, who is well-versed in the horror genre and well-known for his films Eating Air and The Maid, “Trapped” is an 18- minute film featuring a thrilling horror story about the worst potential scenario and consequence of travelling with insufficient Covid-19 insurance coverage.

BBH also brought in Joe Ng, music composer with over 20 years of experience scoring for films, to produce the soundscape for “Trapped”.
