Axcelasia Group taps AirAsia Move chief business officer to lead digital arm

Axcelasia Group has tapped Dabraj Sing, former AirAsia Move chief business officer, to lead Axcelasia Digital, effective 15 January 2025.
Sing will be spearheading the digital consulting arm, focusing on business and digital transformation, commercial growth advisory, and innovative work practices. In addition, he will bring his expertise in scaling digital platforms and driving sustainable growth to Axcelasia's existing clientele.
In his role, he aims to help organisations streamline operations through process digitisation, adopt cutting-edge technologies from cloud to AI, and leverage digital channels for product offerings, all while delivering measurable outcomes and ensuring positive ROIs.

Sing joins Axcelasia after six years with AirAsia where he took on numerous roles including chief business officer, AirAsia Move where he scaled the app into a profitable, multi-billion transacting platform. He was also the chief strategy officer for AirAsia Move and the head of SuperApp platform strategy. He first joined AirAsia in 2018 as head, digital strategy and projects, transformation office.
His previous roles include finance director at Lion & Lion digital agency, and an external auditor at Ernst and Young.

The group’s strong foundation in governance, risk, and compliance, combined with my experience in driving large-scale digital transformation initiatives, will allow us to offer clients a powerful new suite of services," said Sing.

This news comes after Axcelasia Group rebranded its companies in December last year with new names to reflect its growth and future direction. In a LinkedIn post, Axcelasia Group said each of the changes represents the group's commitment to building a stronger, more cohesive brand that resonates with its clients, partners and team members.
"While our names may be changing, our dedication to delivering outstanding service, quality and innovation remains unwavering," said Axcelasia Group.
Under the rebrand, Tricor Axcelasia and Tricor Roots have been renamed to Axcelasia and Axcelasia Roots respectively. Meanwhile, Tricor Roots Consulting and Tricor Softnex will now be known as Axcelasia Roots Solutions and Axcelasia Digital.
