Agency of the Year Awards Singapore 2022 shortlist unveiled

The finalists for the 15th annual Agency of the Year Awards have been revealed.

Despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic, agencies in Singapore dug deep and produced some of their most creative, innovative and effective work to date! These finalists demonstrated how they innovated, pivoted and dug deep to produce unrivalled creativity and campaigns for their businesses and clients.

With 32 enterable categories covering the full breadth of the marketing communications spectrum, agencies of every size had the chance to shine. This year, we introduced two new company categories: eCommerce Marketing Agency of the Year and Martech Agency of the Year.

The most coveted titles are Overall Local Hero of the Year, which will go to the best-performing independent agency that was founded in Singapore, and Overall Agency of the Year, which is open to all entrants. Will TBWA\ Group Singapore continue to defend its champion title or will there be a new reigning champ?

To make it to the shortlist, agencies had to impress our judging panel - comprised of senior client-side marketers - with their outstanding work for clients, overall business performance, excellent staff management and development, and greater contributions to the industry at large.

One of our judges, Rebecca Ang Lee, CMO of MSIG Asia, said: “It was great to see that many agencies have pivoted to stay nimble and agile in their mindset and operations in view of the pandemic. Results for many of the finalists also exceeded expectations so kudos for a job well done and staying relevant in these times!”

Additionally, jury member Kylene Campos, CMO, Tatcha, said: "It was an honour to be a witness to some of the most creative, inspiring, and thought-provoking work that flourished in the industry, despite the challenges that the pandemic threw our way. The quality of the work was a true testament to the collective resilience of the industry!"
