Accenture has agreed to acquire the business of media and marketing technology company, Jixie to bolster Accenture Song’s efforts to drive growth in the Indonesian market. Jixie is headquartered in Singapore with a focus on servicing clients in Indonesia.

Through Jixie’s digital marketing platform and team, Accenture aims to deliver more personalised experiences and enhanced customer engagement for Indonesian clients, according to a statement by the company.

Jixie’s platform is an advertising ecosystem that connects publishers and brand owners with the ability to co-create solutions through customer insights without intermediaries.

The platform also provides access to monetisation tools, such as header-bidding solutions and performance marketing, to improve advertising returns.

“The convergence of marketing, data science and technology creates opportunities for businesses to redefine their customer engagement model,” said Jayant Bhargava, country managing director, Indonesia, at Accenture.

“Jixie’s intelligent digital marketing solutions complement our technology expertise, providing a proposition for businesses to bring a higher level of personalisation and effectiveness to their marketing efforts,” Bhargava added.

The integration of Jixie’s platform is also to capitalise on Indonesia’s fast growing digital economy that’s projected to reach US$146 billion by 2025 before growing eightfold by 2030, according to a statement by the company.

“The value of data in today’s rapidly changing digital economy is immense, and the digital media ecosystem has seen much disruption, including the impending loss of third-party cookies,”explained Joseph Tan, Indonesia lead for Accenture Song.

He also said, “Jixie is an impactful platform that amplifies publishers’ perspectives and simplifies the digital marketing experience. “

As Accenture Song looks to further its services in Indonesia, it also recently acquired brand and experience agency Romp. Accenture’s recent acquisitions also include creative and digital experience agency Rabbit’s Tale in Thailand and global customer insights and advisory agency Fiftyfive5.
