Creator platform Viddsee has named Esther Yue as its new head of branded entertainment as part of its strategic growth plan, according to a statement by the company.

In her new role, Yue will leverage her experience in business development and client retention to generate new clients and branded partnerships. She is charged with leading Viddsee's branded entertainment team and is supported by new and experienced hires.

Yue will be collaborating closely with internal studios and the marketing team to pioneer integrated strategy solutions for Viddsee's clients.

Prior to this, Yue was positioned as the head of operations for Asia Pacific at Distillery. Drawing upon her experience in her previous agencies, she added value to Distillery’s regional leadership and creativity, contributing to pitches and new business development.

A seasoned industry professional, Yue has also worked in leadership positions at agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, Dentsu and Craft Worldwide WW. In these roles, she collaborated on noteworthy projects, alongside creative teams and clients throughout the region.

Her appointment is set to infuse a fresh perspective and enhance the Viddsee team's growth momentum, said the company.

Ho Jia Jian, CEO of Viddsee, expressed his enthusiasm about her new appointment: "Having Yue on board is a huge win for us. Her experience and proven record will boost our business offerings."

Her appointment follows the company’s co-founder Derek Tan stepping down from his post. He has transitioned to a non-executive director role on the board.

Tan co-founded Viddsee with Ho in January 2013 and focused his efforts on strategic partnerships and business development initiatives by expanding Viddsee's commercial offering and user base.
